Service — Outbound pools

Call out from local numbers allocated to your account

Your dialer places the call; the person on the other end sees a local number of their own country — a number on your account, monitored, and replaced from your stock if it degrades. An outbound pool is a set of such numbers for one direction, plus traffic billed per minute. You keep your PBX, dialer and CRM. VoipTower is the layer underneath.

Current directions, prices and documents are on the pricing page and in the order form.

What an outbound pool is

An outbound pool is outbound capacity for one country. It consists of local numbers of that country, allocated to your company and used as your caller ID when you call customers there. The pool connects over a SIP trunk to whatever you already run — a PBX or an auto-dialer — so nothing in your workflow changes except the number your customers see.

The unit of sale is a pool per direction. A base pool includes a fixed set of numbers; additional numbers are added per month; traffic is billed per minute at the pool rate. There is no per-seat and no per-channel fee. The number of numbers included, the price of an extra number, the per-minute rate and the fair-use cap are set per country and published on the pricing page, not in this text.

Worth noting: a pool is not a way to receive calls. If you need numbers that customers dial to reach you, that is a DID order. Many customers run both, but they are separate line items and separate forms.

What is included

Numbers allocated to you only. The pool is built for your company. Another customer's traffic cannot affect the reputation of your numbers, because no other customer uses them — the same isolation mechanic we apply to every number we provision.

Monitoring. Answer rates, post-dial delay and spam-scoring of the numbers are watched on an ongoing basis. Monitoring runs around the clock; anything that needs a decision is raised in the same chat where your engineer and account manager already are.

Replacement from your stock. When monitoring detects that a number has degraded, we replace it from your pre-allocated stock and notify you. You can also request a replacement yourself. No new documents are needed: your KYC token is already on file. Number rotation is part of the pool service.

Fair use, treated as capacity planning. Each number carries a cap on call attempts per day (the figure is on the pricing page). Sustained volume above the cap is not a violation and not a reason for a penalty. It is the signal that your campaign has outgrown the pool, and the answer is extra numbers.

Engineering. Connecting the pool to your dialer or PBX, setting the caller ID, testing the route — done by our engineers. Engineering is included — no separate billing, no hourly support fees.

What we do not promise

We do not promise that a number will never receive a spam label. We do not promise an answer-rate figure, an unlimited number of attempts, or quality in directions that are not on the pricing page. Quality is held for clean traffic: a pool used for legitimate outbound sales or service calls behaves the way this page describes; one used for traffic the receiving networks classify as abusive does not, and that outcome is not something we stand behind.

How to order

The pool order sits inside the same form as DID orders — switch to "Outbound pools" at the top.

  1. Fill in the form. Pick the direction, see its card (pool per month, numbers included, extra number, rate, fair use, documents, ETA), add extra numbers if you need them, describe the use case. Prices on the card are the same rates as on the pricing page.
  2. Terms are confirmed. Your account manager confirms the order with you before payment.
  3. Payment request, then top-up. You receive a payment request for the balance top-up; the pool is billed monthly on the 1st, the first month pro-rated. The pool is provisioned after the payment.
  4. Provisioning. We order the numbers from the carrier for that direction, configure the trunk and caller ID with your engineer, test, and hand the pool over. The ETA shown on the card applies to the first numbers in a direction; later additions and replacements come from your stock.

Side note on timelines: platform onboarding (KYC review and account activation), first delivery in a new direction, and re-orders from stock are three different things with three different clocks. We do not fold them into one figure.

Rates shown are for standard volumes. For consistent traffic, individual terms can be arranged — contact your account manager.

Documents

Standard B2B KYC applies to every order: company registration, director ID, and a use-case description. Each direction on the pricing page also carries a document scope:

  • Worldwide — the standard KYC set is enough, and your company may be registered in any country.
  • Local — the carrier additionally requires proof of a local address or presence in that country.
  • On request — the requirement is confirmed at order time.

The scope for each direction is shown on the pricing page and on the direction card in the form. Once your profile is verified, the KYC token covers re-orders and replacements — you do not resubmit documents for the same company.

Frequently asked questions

How is an outbound pool different from ordering DID numbers?
A DID order gives you numbers customers dial to reach you; the number is the product. An outbound pool gives you numbers your dialer uses as caller ID when you call out, together with per-minute traffic, monitoring and replacement; the calling capacity is the product. They are separate line items in the order form. A company that both receives and places calls in a country usually has both.
What is fair use?
A cap on call attempts per number per day, published on the pricing page for each direction. It exists so that a number's reputation is not burned by a volume it was never sized for. Sustained volume above the cap is not a breach — it is the point at which you add numbers to the pool.
What happens when a number in my pool degrades?
Monitoring picks it up, we replace the number from your pre-allocated stock, and we tell you in your chat. No new documents are required, because your KYC token is already on file. You can also ask for a replacement yourself if your own statistics show a problem before ours do.
Which documents do I need?
Standard B2B KYC — company registration, director ID, use case — plus whatever the direction's document scope adds: nothing further for Worldwide, proof of local presence for Local, confirmed at order time for On request. The scope per direction is on the pricing page and on the order card.
How is a pool billed?
Outbound pools are billed monthly; calls are billed per minute.
Can I use my own dialer or PBX?
Yes — that is the intended setup. The pool connects over SIP trunking to your existing PBX or auto-dialer; our engineers configure the trunk and caller ID with you. VoipTower is the layer under the dialer, not a replacement for it.
Which countries are available?
The directions currently offered are listed on the pricing page and in the order form. If the country you need is not there, contact us.

Start with the direction you call most.

Pools are priced and provisioned one direction at a time, so the country you call is the first thing to settle — then the campaign behind it, outbound sales or service calls. Size can follow: a pool grows with extra numbers when a campaign outgrows it. If your country is not on the pricing page, ask anyway — directions outside it are vetted before they are offered.
